Our Core Fitness Gym is spacious vibrant and lively and the perfect place for all fitness enthusiasts wanting to work up a sweat with a range of state-of-the-art training equipment including leading fitness brands such as Matrix, Life Fitness and PRECOR. Our gym is always a hive of activity and is open from 6am Monday to Friday allowing you to get your vigorous gym session in before beginning your working day. Along with a gym area, functional zone, cardio zoon, free weights section and weight section we also boast over 70 fitness classes weekly available both mornings and evenings. No matter what type of workout you are planning to do our gym in Galway has everything you need whether you are a gym pro or a fitness newbie. Our family-friendly 18 metre heated swimming pool offers lanes for all levels of swimmers and different swimming speeds along with water-based classes such as Aquafit and Swim Plus Academy which offers a wide range of swimming classes for both children.
As we all know swimming is an excellent way to work your entire body and cardiovascular system and a great activity for both young and old and of course there is the fun element. It has been proven that performing active recovery in a swimming pool helps to reduce soreness, flushes out lactic acid and prevents a drop-off in performance and pool recovery sessions are very popular here at Core Fitness with all types of athletes including GAA, rugby, runners and much more.
